Sandara Park recently talked about her goals for the future.
During an interview for her upcoming film “One Step,” the singer-turned-actress talked about her new role as Hong Seol’s friend Jang Bora in the film “Cheese in the Trap.” According to the report, Sandara Park has worked hard to bring her character Jang Bora to life. Even during her audition, she surprised the production team by preparing a refreshing and straightforward way of speaking for the role. “Rather than creating something, I’d rather act in my own style as usual. The director requested that I do so.”
If you thought that the idols of YG kept things wild and crazy, you might want to think again!
On April 3, Korean media outlet Daily Sports released an interview with 2NE1 member Sandara Park, where she discussed her current solo activities and shared funny anecdotes from her career thus far.
Korean pop star and 2NE1 member Sandara Park, known by her fans as Dara, was at Mid Valley last night for a Moonshot launch event. Dara is the face of Moonshot makeup, along with G-Dragon (who sadly wasn’t there). The singers and the makeup brand are under the YG Entertainment Group.
A team who has the record of the highest-ever ranking (61st) on Billboard 200, American Billboard’s main albums chart, for any Korean singer, whether it is team or solo, man or woman. A team who has an impressive melody line which even people in their 30s and 40s can easily sing along, which is not a usual case among Korea’s girl groups. A team who can best-express both ballad and dance music. A team who proved that a girl group can be successful for the quality of their music and performance, not just for their good look. A team who has numerous hits such as “FIRE”, “I DON’T CARE”, “I’M THE BEST”, “GO AWAY”, “LONELY”, “UGLY”, “CAN’T NOBODY”, “IN THE CLUB”, “I LOVE YOU”, “CLAP YOUR HANDS”, “HATE YOU”, “GOTTA BE YOU”, “MTBD”, “IF I WERE YOU”, and “COME BACK HOME”. These are words that describe 2NE1, a girl group of four members: CL, DARA, BOM, and MINZY.
Web-drama “We Broke Up” (written by Jeon Seon-Young, directed by Kim Ki-Yoon and Kim Yong-Wan), for which singer-cum-actress DARA and KANG SEUNG YOON play the title role, is drawing a big popularity, surpassing 13 million views.
“We Broke Up” surpassed five million views on the 15 last month, which was in two weeks from its release on NAVER TV CAST and YG Entertainment’s YouTube channel. Then, as of the 19 this month, one month after the five million views were reached, the number of views surpassed 13 million, showing the drama’s continuing popularity in and out of the country.
